Who we are

Stepwell Mortgages is the trading name of Lynsey Didwell, an appointed representative of New Leaf Distribution Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA reference number 460421). New Leaf Distribution Limited's registered office is 165–167 High Street, Rayleigh, Essex, SS6 7QA.

For the core activity of giving you advice, Stepwell Mortgages and New Leaf Distribution Limited jointly determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data, and are therefore joint data controllers, sharing responsibility for managing that data and ensuring it is handled properly. Stepwell Mortgages is solely responsible for some separate activities, such as any direct marketing it carries out.

The personal data we collect

To provide advice and arrange products on your behalf, we need to hold information about you. Depending on the service you ask for, this may include your contact details, details relevant to your mortgage or protection needs, and information you choose to share with us during an advice conversation.

This website's initial enquiry form is deliberately limited to contact details and the general topic of your enquiry. More detailed financial, health or banking information is only ever collected later, directly by Lynsey, once an advice relationship has begun — not through this website.

How we collect it

We collect information you give us directly — for example through this website's contact form, by phone, by email or in person — and information generated during the course of providing advice and arranging products.

How we use it

We use your information to provide advice, to arrange and administer the products you take out, to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and to communicate with you about your enquiry or existing arrangements.

Sharing your information

We may share relevant information with New Leaf Distribution Limited, with lenders and product providers as part of an application, and with regulators or other parties where we are required to by law. We do not sell your personal information.

This website does not currently use cookies.
